Hi, I am Chi Phan.

(Pronounced Chee Fawn)

I’ve tried my hand at plenty of jobs, but modeling was one of my favorites. I’m grateful for the experience I gained from commercial print modeling opportunities that were available through the textile industry where I grew up in W-S, NC & Atlanta, GA. I loved posing and seeing myself in various lights… the way the photographers saw me. Whether I was on a hang tag for Hanes brand apparel, modeling softball uniforms or hair model for Aveda through Van Michael Salons, through modeling, I became a fan of photography. But it was the birth of my first child that took me to the other side of the camera fueling my love for the art itself, wanting to capture all of her precious moments.

I was an International Sales Manager for 18 years in corporate America. I was fortunate to travel all over the world, and took advantage of the opportunity to photo-document my experiences. I noticed that my favorite scenic photos captured people in beautiful settings which gave birth to my passion for natural light portrait photography.

Though I still enjoy being in front of the camera, I now look forward to getting giddy every time one of my clients says, “Wow! Is that really me?!”, “I didn’t know that I could look so good!” and “I can’t stop looking at these photos!”
